Workshop

Guided by the two founding architects, since 2016, our workshop aims to explore architectural solutions that synthesize the challenges posed by contemporary living.

Studio

Architects Camillo Botticini and Matteo Facchinelli share a common tendency towards synthesis, and the need for architecture that is simultaneously intense, sensual, and material.

People

Our studio adopts a dynamic and horizontal approach, promoting the free expression of ideas and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Bio

I have been collaborating with ARW since 2020.

I began my career in 2006, collaborating with the studio Camillo Botticini Architetti, where I developed a solid foundation in design and a sensitivity towards innovative and high-quality architecture.

In 2007, I moved to Rome, where I started working at the Labics studio, one of the most recognized and dynamic firms in the Italian architectural landscape.

I collaborated with Zaha Hadid Architects, gaining significant experience in large-scale contemporary architecture. Here, I refined my skills in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary and international teams for innovative and challenging projects. I was responsible for the development of the residential project in CityLife, Milan.

In 2011, I founded the Lab36 studio, a creative laboratory dedicated to tailor-made architecture, where each project is developed to specifically meet the client’s needs and aspirations. Lab36 also supports various international brands in developing their presence across Italy. This experience strengthened my process management skills, from design to execution.

In 2020, I joined ARW studio, taking on the role of Project Manager in overseeing complex buildings, with a focus on technical innovation and execution quality. Thanks to my extensive experience and strategic vision, I became the Technical Director in 2024, continuing to lead projects of national and international importance.

Process

Teamwork

Every opinion matters. The mutual exchange of ideas and open critical discussions foster creativity, allowing all team members to contribute to their fullest potential to achieve innovative goals. We believe in the importance of continuous learning, which is why educational opportunities and debates include internal lessons or sessions held by specific technical consultants, meetings with business coaches, international study trips, and collective participation in major architectural events worldwide.

Development

From idea to project. Our design process is comprehensive, starting with defining objectives and necessary resources, involving planning, experimentation, research, and feasibility analysis. Therefore, it is essential for us that the initial vision evolves into a mature technical design through studies with models and 3D renderings, ultimately leading to a complete definition and control with BIM platforms.

Construction

Our work is directing. Our experience allows us to coordinate and supervise all activities required to complete a project as a work of art, ensuring that work is carried out according to controlled techniques, within set timelines and budgets. This requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, construction companies, and management staff, to ensure the project's success and the quality of the final result.
