The intervention in the eastern cell provides this space with contrasting attributes, making it perceive abstract and symbolic, tectonic and illusory at the same time. The internal volume is enveloped by a layer of bricks of a base red color, softened with a whitening treatment, reminiscent of the external mural treatment of the entire Capitolium built in the nineteenth century.
Upon entering the room, one sees the Winged Victory atop a cylindrical pedestal made of Botticino marble with an anti-seismic base. Artificial light focuses on a lamp, composed of various elements, suspended in space resembling a moon as a solitary element with some hidden spotlights directed towards the intrados to gently illuminate the entire room.

The lightness of the partitioning creates a rhythmic vibration of visual order and an optical illusion effect reminiscent of the ornamentation of the internal Roman wall finishes of the period.

This experience of abstract lightness accompanies and acts as a counterbalance to the very concrete and figurative character of the statue and to the material finish of the skin inside the room.
