The project represents an important opportunity for urban redevelopment of an area located adjacent to the Rogoredo railway station. It comprises a complex for 1840 inhabitants, including approximately 600 housing units categorized as ERS for rent, ERS for subsidized sale, free residence, commercial spaces, nursery schools, and living spaces. The urban project aims to create a fragment of a city, avoiding the peripheral effect that characterizes many urban fringes in Milan. The settlement strategy involves the creation of a large tripartite block with buildings along the lot boundaries, featuring wide tree-lined sidewalks and arcades with collective activities along Via Medici del Vascello. The architecture also seeks to adopt a Milanese urban tone, representing itself through sober expressiveness.
