Exhibition ‘Site specific architecture: the architecture of the place’

The Seriatese Visual Arts Association, with the patronage, collaboration and contribution of the City of Seriate Department of Culture and the patronage of the Order of Architects PPeC of Bergamo presents the architecture exhibition: “Site specific architecture” by architects Camillo Botticini and Matteo Facchinelli.

The exhibition brings together a series of completed projects, some of which are currently under construction, by the ARW studio.

The focus of the exhibition is on the connection between architecture and landscape and on the integration of the project in the context in which it is inserted: the complex settlement landscape becomes the reference material. The geography, the history of the places, the morphological and altimetrical features and the course of the land are taken as generating elements. The architecture builds a complex and integrated environment, in which the open spaces, public and private, generate a determining component of the project.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Sunday 12 January 2020 at 10.30 am in the auditorium of the G. Gambirasio library. Gambirasio library in Seriate (Bg).
