ARW Associates at Paris Builders Show 2026

Next Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Matteo Facchinelli, founding partner of ARW Associates, will take part in the Paris Builders Show as part of the round table “Designing Hybrid, Intergenerational Spaces for Tomorrow”, taking place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The discussion will focus on how architecture can respond to the growing need to design hybrid, flexible and intergenerational spaces, capable of accommodating different users, adapting to different times of the day, and evolving over time. The topic brings to the centre of the debate not only the physical configuration of buildings, but also the relationship between programmes, uses, atmospheres and new ways of living in and sharing spaces.

Bringing together professionals from different fields, the round table will explore how design can move beyond a rigid separation of functions, instead encouraging places that are able to evolve alongside the changing needs of people and communities.

Matteo Facchinelli will contribute the perspective of ARW Associates, presenting the studio’s approach through a selection of projects that, at different scales and across different programmes, address the themes of mixed use, adaptability, and the relationship between architecture and transformation over time.

Moderated by Nathalie Lecuppre, the conversation will also feature Vincent Eschalier, Cédric Baelde, Sandrine Alouf, Elvys Fiokouna and Jean-Philippe Nuel, bringing together different experiences and perspectives on the future of shared spaces.
