ARW Associates at “Ordine Aperto” for Fuorisalone 2026 with Testi 223
We are pleased to announce that ARW Associates will take part in “Ordine Aperto” – Milano Design Week 2026, an initiative promoted by Fondazione OAMi and the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Milan, hosted at their headquarters in via Solferino 17, Milan, in the heart of the Brera Design District.
On the occasion of Fuorisalone, the Order’s venue will host a collective exhibition dedicated to projects, prototypes, and research exploring different scales of design, fostering a dialogue between professional practice, research, and cultural production.
Among the selected projects, Testi 223 will be exhibited—an intervention of transformation and adaptive reuse that reinterprets the legacy of an existing complex through a contemporary, measured, and distinctive architectural language. Its presence within the exhibition represents an important opportunity for us to reflect on the relationship between architecture, regeneration, and new qualities of workspace environments.
Throughout the week, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the authors of the exhibited projects. On Tuesday, April 21, from 12:50 to 13:00, architect Matteo Facchinelli will give a short talk dedicated to Testi 223, offering a concise presentation of the project and the key themes that guided its transformation. The talk is part of a series of meetings scheduled between April 21 and 24, taking place in the outdoor courtyard of the Order’s headquarters.
“Ordine Aperto” features a selection of proposals identified through an open call that gathered 65 submissions, resulting in 36 selected projects. Drawings, photographs, videos, prototypes, and other communication tools compose an exhibition path that highlights the multiple ways architecture can engage with contemporary society.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday, April 20 to Sunday, April 26, 2026; the opening will take place on Monday, April 20 at 12:00 PM. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
