This event continues the series of exhibitions curated by AIAC – the Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism. Following the success in Selinunte, this extraordinary initiative, having recently found a home in Schio, now moves to Rome before subsequently arriving at the Farm Cultural Park in Favara, Sicily.
The exhibition, titled “Spaces, Architecture, and People,” aims to explore the radical changes affecting public and private spaces in Italy through recently completed works. The main goal of this exhibition is to highlight the relationship between designed spaces and their often informal use by people.
From the Covid-19 pandemic to increasing digitalization, changing family models, and an aging population, the exhibition will focus on new ways of experiencing space, with people at the center of attention. The architectures will not be presented as mere backdrops but will be analyzed in their concreteness to stimulate a profound reflection on contemporary life.
